Location

The apartment is located in the northeast section of the city centre, an easy walk to Princes Street, Playhouse Theatre, Royal Mile, numerous museums and art galleries. There are many shops, bars, cafes and restaurants close at hand. Broughton Street, the focal point for the city's gay community is just a few streets away.

From the Airport

Edinburgh Airport (EDI) is 8 miles west of Brunswick House. Taking a taxi directly from the airport to the apartment will cost approximately £18 and take 25 minutes. Alternatively, you could take the Airlink bus from the airport into the city centre. Buses depart every 10 minutes from outside the terminal for the 25-minute ride into the city centre. Fares are £3 one-way, or £5 for an open return ticket. Ride the bus to the last stop (on top of Edinburgh's Waverley train station) and from there take a taxi for the short ride to the apartment. Expect to pay around £5 for the one-way taxi ride from the bus terminus to the apartment.

From the Train Station

Edinburgh Waverley is the city's main train station for services to and from all over the country. The apartment is less than one mile from the station. If the weather is fine and you have light luggage, the walk to the apartment should take around 10 minutes. Otherwise the short taxi ride should cost around £4 one way.

From the Bus Station

Long distance bus and coach services arrive and depart from the bus station located just off St Andrews Square, which is less than one mile from the apartment. If the weather is fine and you have light luggage, the walk to the apartment should take no more than 10 minutes. Otherwise the short taxi ride should cost around £4 one-way.

By Car

Guests arriving by car will be pleased to know that there is free unrestricted on-street parking outside the apartment. The apartment is located on Brunswick Street, which is to the north and east of the city centre bewteen London Road (B1350) and Leith Walk (A900).
